Abstract

Arrangements for Child Identity Cards in the National Database System or Population Administration System (SIAK) have been regulated in Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 2 of 2016 concerning Child Identity Cards. KIA has many benefits which aim to improve data collection, protection and public services as well as an effort to provide protection and fulfill the constitutional rights of citizens aged 0 to 17 years less one day. KIA is an identity that every child must have in order to be able to access public services independently. It is urgent or urgent that the Child Identity Card be implemented optimally in order to increase population administration data collection activities that are more sophisticated, neatly arranged and accurate and to facilitate access nationally, the government then implemented a Population Administration Information System (SIAK). Apart from that, KIA is a manifestation of the government's role in providing legal protection for children as well as providing public services for children and other benefits
